The New Hotmail…

.
Hi its me again, venting about the new hotmail, I realized this morning that the folders I made to store things in havent come back to me with this new email ?? does anyone know how to retrieve them ? I made a folder that contained all my passwords, for various sites, now I it isn’t there, if I do a system restore, will it bring back my old email program me so that I can retrieve this stuff ?? Before they gave us a choice to have a new one or stick with the old, it just ticks me off that no option was given this time…. Ohhh grrrr vent vent lol…

Ive tried the mail search but thats not great either zoo :-( it wont let my cursor appear so that I can search, Im really considering a system restore to see if I can retrieve it all.

I think the search only lets you search for someones message, not the folder.

first of all, are you opening your mails from a web browser (the such like mozilla firefox or IE) and it got ‘upgraded’ like what my understanding, or are you retrieving your mail from third party software like outlook and the such, (where you actually downloaded the mails to your computer)?

because, if you are just opening your mails through a browser, i really don’t reckon any system restore on your computer would do any good, because it is simply not connected…

maybe you can try clicking on the manage folder link, then the question mark besides the options, then choose help… there are topics there you might want to have a look at

Ok thanks guys… situation is fixed I think, instead of opening it from messenger and going through that way, if I click hotmail in the msn homepage it takes me to it and all the folders are now showing on the left panel. I dont know what happened there but all is good now, ty again. :-)
