What was this site like before CBS bought it?

Was the layout different, or the formatting, or the filters and stuff?

I have only been on here for a couple months, so what changed?

Nothing. But the site is being redesigned now. However the admin makes posts asking for what we want. So it will be interesting to see.

On a more personal level, this site had regulars who generally cared for others and would respond to questions with care and compassion. The website was new and became rather addicting. Rather than focus on your own troubles you could come here and try to assist others.

After a while it became very frustrating. One would try to help someone resolve an issue while others had nothing better to do than bash the ones seeking advise.

Its been a while since Ive been here. I hope things are at least a little better.

I disagree. There was a period of that, but it seems to be behind the site now, there certainly seems to be a lot less of it now.
