Thats not too tough of standards. I was the same as you, not until i STOPPED looking for a boyfriend did i really find anything. You’re 14, you still have PLEANTY of time. just don’t focus on only that and maybe you’ll find one. Just be happy with yourself and eventually you’ll get something you want.You could also be missing signs from some boys. Just make some guy friends, hang out some time and enjoy life. You’ll find someone i promise

I know how you feel. I’m 16, and that’s how I was at 14. But really, in high school age, you shouldn’t be looking for a boyfriend. Sure you see many people close to you have boyfriends, and it may make you jealous, but really, it’s not a very good idea. I suggest you date around, taste different flavors, and see what kind of people you really like. It’s so much more fun when you’re dating to have fun and not to find someone steady. If you have a boyfriend, other guys won’t ask you out because they think you’re “taken,” and that will last all of high school. Trust me, I have experience with that kind of stuff. And if it’s a popularity thing, people will respect you and admire you so much more if you ARE going with a lot of guys rather than staying to a specific one. But yeah, date a lot of different kinds of people. You don’t have to worry about being loyal and committing to someone. I know what I’m talking about. Relationships don’t usually work out when they start that young.
