college help: Tulsa, Oklahoma - Help.com

Tulsa, Oklahoma

I might visit Tulsa around next year for college tour. I’m from New Jersey and I’ve never been to Oklahoma. What do you think of it?

I think there are plenty of cowboys back there.

DONT GO TO OKLAHOMA!!! It’s a HORRIBLE place! *shudders* I can’t stand even driving through it. No trees, cowboys (conservative hicks) everywhere, only country music.
As much as I dislike OK, I will admit that Oklahoma City is, well- OK.

I have a bunch of family living there and I go often to visit them. The Oklahoma landscape is extremely ugly in my opinion. The population is extremely conservative as a whole. For a long stretch of the Cimarron turnpike, there are only country music stations. Basically, if you are fond of civilization don’t move there.
