im having the same problem. i got mine in the mail yesterday, and here i am less than 24 hours later, same situation. i turned the phone off and when i turned it back on, it went through the little sprint splash screen, and then said “Loading…” at the bottom of the screen. it then does nothing for about 4 minutes, then the screen goes blank - screen backlight stays on, but when you slide the phone open to reveal the qwerty keyboard, the key lights dont come on. im pretty sure this is a software issue. im going tomorrow to the sprint store and getting a replacement from them. ive read a lot about other people’s rants doing the same thing… i don’t understand why they dont catch these things before they put the phones on the market.

best thing i can suggest is don’t turn off your phone until you know they have fixed the problem… one thing i did when i got my replacement was go to the settings or tools or whatever and went to “update” and i checked for new firmware and it found a new version. im too afraid to turn it off and back on to see if that might have fixed the problem though… anyone get the new firmware and try that?

I woke up to this same problem today and, after 4 hours on the phone and at 2 different Sprint stores in town, Sprint was absolutely USELESS in helping me. They told me that I needed to buy a new phone since I’ve had mine for 2 months. Are they INSANE????

I am thoroughly pissed off and have written a lengthy email to them. I do hope that they will do all they can to resolve the issue, whether they do the software upgrade or just give me a new dang phone, I don’t really care. I just have to have a phone to be in touch with my kids.

my rant has done almost the same thing. i had it sitting on the table, and looked down to see it with a white blank screen basically flashing about every 15 - 30 seconds. i went to turn it off and then back on and it said loading and played the little sprint thing, and i thought everything was all good, but the same white blank screen appeared. i have had mine for about 6 months and only had small problems. tomorrow im going to return it to the sprint store and hopefully they fix the problem!

Try plugging it up to your computer, it supposed to help with the glitches.
Anyone help me?
I dropped my phone in water and it’s working again but it turns off and turns on every time I’m not using it. I tried hooking it up to the computer but it still has the problem.

Btw, email isn’t real. I feel uncomfortable doing that.
