I have had horrible back pain for the last ten years (I’m only 26!

!). I found a chiropractor that thinks he might be able to help me but I don’t have insurance. I am a single mother and a full time student. I am looking for different ways to finance this enormous expense. I am required to go in 3X a week for intense therapy. He told me that I technically am 25% disabled. If I do not do this I could lose my independence. I do not know where to start looking. My boyfriend initially offered to pay for this but his finances are falling apart with stock market. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate them!! Thank you!!

that’s a tough situation. I’d turn to family, church, friends, the state, anywhere there could be money. If that doesn’t produce anything I’d try to take out a loan or drop out of school for now (you may be able to get some tuition back since you pretty much have to quit; at least that’s the situation in my school). Your independence is priceless and I’d put everything on hold to take care of this.

Dump your cheap boyfriend and start dating the chiropractor.
