I’m not scared at all. He’ll be fine and he’ll be a great president. Always bet on the guy that appeals to your better side. Obama knew what came along with the job, he isn’t scared. Nor will he give people who wish to harm him the satisfaction of being scared. That said, technology, surveillance , and intelligence is so advanced that if someone were to try to plan something it wouldn’t get beyond the infancy stages.

i also love obama, & am more than a little happy that he’ll be our president (i haven’t been able to say “our president” for 8 years without shuddering). a friend of mine wonders about what you wonder about him getting shot also, but i don’t have that fear. anything’s possible i suppose since there’s a lot of nutcases or serious haters out there, but let’s keep our fingers crossed…

Don’t hope he lives up to the hype. He is only human. It’s up to us to stay engaged and mobilized. We are who give our leaders power. What I’m saying is, write letters, visit your legislators offices. These policy makers make decisions for us. We can’t afford to just go back to our regular lives and hope he does the right thing. We have to make sure of it. If he slips up we have to let him know.

If the Secret Service could protect George Bush from the ENTIRE planet, I think they can handle the KKK.
