I used to use IE faithfully, but now I use firefox exclusively. I wouldn’t recommend uninstalling IE though, I did and it messed up IE and windows update online.
I wonder if Google Chrome has came out of beta yet.

I’d stick to firefox!
I like IE better tbh. My brother and friends always talk about me for continuing to use it and not firefox, but i really dont like it. I have both on my computer but only use IE. I ♥ it compared to firefox
Is it really that much better??
What are the advantages?
Or maybe i just like being different from everyone…..

Firefox is a bit faster in places here and there. However, what FF really does better is (these days) security and extendability. FF has tons of themes and LOADS of extensions that do everything from block every ad ever to some hard core nitty gritty stuff like disassembling the webpage you’re viewing an examining it piece by piece at a source code level.
The soon-to-come version of FF is going to have a faster javascript engine than anything out there (neck in neck with Google’s “Chrome” browser.) Thus sites employing lots of JS (which is really common now with AJAX) will work better in FF.
As noted, keep both around, since IE is heavily tied into the Windows OS.
