awwwh thanks for that. very inspirational. i needed that right about now.
Wow, I have nothing to complain about. Thanks for the video :)
Thank you. Very inspiring x
Thank you. that helped me alot just there, i really needed that.
A strong man, and a good example to live by. I hope scientists will make breakthroughs in limb replacement, growth, and/or regeneration so he can enjoy limbs if he so desires.
such a lovely and touching story, its amazing how much one person can change your views on life, i respect him for what he has lived through and taught others how to live life to the full
Thank you all. Sorry for reposting the first video twice. That wasn’t my intention.
All I see is a young man who obviously has the means to be provided for - and, yes, a GREAT will to live.
Good for him!
And I can see why many people appear to be cheered by it - or think it’s their DUTY to show good cheer… ;)
However, I don’t think it will change much the outlook on life for people who are NOT young and who have lost EVERYTHING (well, except the limbs or the most important bodily functions): the people they loved, their career, their money.
People who face a future without their loved ones AND without the means to support themselves because they are too heart-broken,too CRIPPLED by their relentless losses on all fronts to “go out and fight!”, as those who have not sustained such losses so cheerily like to preach to others. People who don’t even have their youth to fall back to anymore.
But don’t get me wrong:I most certainly do appreciate - and commend - the intention of the kind heart who posted this. Really, I do.)

Wow you seem a bit angry and negative, is there something you want to talk about?
Maybe we can help lift thoes storm clouds hovering.
I have to agree with Whocare. I don’t think it is going to do much to change people’s attitudes. I think it is important to follow the message of this video, which is to keep trying. However, I think the strongest realization of that comes from personal experience, rather than something instilled or conveyed from another person.
Maybe, but the implementation is something you have to do yourself. It’s rare people can force you to do anything.
no one can force you to do anything,
If you are receptive and open to assistance or open to others you may be moved to change
And that’s why it is important to choose who you allow to help you wisely. If you choose wrong, they can change you for the worse.
If that sense were all that common, the world wouldn’t be in the shape it’s in, but that’s a tangent. We really have branched far away from the original topic, and so I will post no more about this.
Uh, that was cool I guess. Thanks.

I guess you not only have to open ones eyes but to open your own heart too. If you don’t have one, or it’s so frozen over with hatred, then no this won’t have an impact on you.
I’m sorry.
As you should be.

Not sure about the god aspect, but the inspiration is tangable. Thank you southern comfort.
God bless him , but what does it say about me if I look at him and I still feel like I haven’t found my purpose , and that sometimes I would rather just not be here , and death would be a better option ,………….
Sadly I can relate to what Whocare wrote , it’s sad but true .

Torso boy (lol californiacation) didn’t have a great attitude either for a long time, he said. He apparently found his answer through faith, but what it says to me (about me, you, any of us) is that we can find strength and purpose if we look hard and long enough. It’s inside us. At some point he saw that he could change his life if he just kept trying, which he did.
I had a friend who, although he had limbs, was just as disabled as the guy in the video. Often he despaired, but he never gave up. Maybe the absurdity of facing such a mountain dares such people to give it their all, whereas you or I see a hill or a detour in the road as not worth the effort.
If, as so many here think, there is no there there, no destination at the end of our journeys, is it better, when we run into a ditch, to see it as an acceptable place to be buried? Or is it better to find whatever leverage, whatever help we can to work ourselves out of the ditch, and at least see what’s around the next turn?
Saw this before..it’s good, thank you:)
First time to have seen that. It was very touching. I would need to remind myself to count my blessings. Thanks for posting.
