ok this for anyone that knows of a place (town,city) close to the city of san fransico.

but not in the cloged city portion and a little bit cheaper . this would be of great help when i move in a couple of months i need to be able to get to treasre island.

What kind of town are you looking for? Some places are fairly cheap, but they’re also more dangerous. Dublin and Pleasanton are in the East Bay and they’re nice but still fairly affordable, plus there’s a BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station there that will take you straight into the city. In fact, you should just go to http://www.bart.gov/stations/index.aspx and take a look at their map to find out which cities are along the routes, because you probably won’t be wanting to drive or park in SF.

I live just south of San Francisco in a very nice town, but a 2 hour drive from the city.
