Does anyone know how to eject a tape on RCA cc6263, when the eject button does not work?

And do you know how to get it out of safe mode?

i have like pushed the tape in a little more and then lift with my fingertip and it pops up and then you can pull it out… but that can do damage.

but if the thing is already broken… who cares right?

otherwise take the thing apart with a screwdriver

I will defintly try that. The only reason I ask is because my dad lost the manual, and the manuals online don’t seem to have any pages to talk about errors or troubles.
