Why would you be hand feeding a chicken ? lol

Anyway. Put the seed / pellets in your open hand and feed it to them with an open hand. Their beaks are still going to hit your hand, lol. They can’t help that, thats just how they eat, their heads jerk forward really auickly. They’re not trying to bite you, thats how they pick up food.
