if you cant inspire yourself how do you expect to change the world ?
Luke 19:27 is an inspiration to many Christians.
no, its not for me!!!! I can inspire myself. I have done. I am composing a song for a charity, and need ideas. This time, it’s not about inspiring me, it’s about inspiring the world. And all the ideas I have are ideas that have already been used. And any others I have would inspire me but not others….

Luke 19:27 is a bit….morbid? I don’t know. Like, I don’t need to be inspired. My aim is to inspire others. And I am good at that verbally when I am talking to a crowd of people. But to inspire others to help through just one song….like, it has to be a **** good song for that to happen. So hence I thought an inspirational quote would be the place to start!

Wow. They are seriously cool! I LOVE the poem Cakes!!!! Must check copyright details on that. But even just as a basis for inspiration its amazing! And that’s a great quote tricky! And I remember that bit fro the bible, Verum. I used to love it as a kid! Still do!
I think John 1:18 clarifies that.

I understand U are wanting to inspire others,And religion does do that for some people. However if you are reaching out to a broader audience, then religion may not be the way to go. We all have insperations and goals and ideas of what you would like to achieve,I am blank for a world inspiring quote but will give it some thought! But religion limits your out reach, unless that is your only target.
i do get that. And that is very true curtiscr. There are a very few limited religious quotes that do mean something to people who don’t believe. The one that comes to my mind is ‘receive the power and be a light unto the world’….or even just ‘be a light unto the world’….that has inspired me in so many ways, and also people I know who aren’t religious. But there’s very few like that. Thanks for the advice though!
That is true . Religion does have alot of Things quoteable, that minus the religious aspect ,would be insperational to just about anyone.However something as simple as The insperation caused here in the U.S with just the words “YES WE CAN” inspired a country!
