My sidekick wont turn on.

I think my battery died on my sidekick 2008. When i went to turn on my phone the screen keeps coming up where it has the 4 buttons on it. and the reboot screen keeps coming up what do i do?!?

take the battery and sim out put the battery back in WITHOUT the sim press and hold the R button the menu button and the on/off button it should work
