question help: I just wanted to let you all know that I am sick today.

I just wanted to let you all know that I am sick today.

I have a cold, and feel like crap. My muscles ache, my stomach hurts, my head is full of pressure. Because of the medications I take, i cannot take any cold meds, so I just have to suffer thru.

And because of my position, I cannot take a sick day. So I am here at work, trying to get thru the morning. I can leave early today, so I am counting down the minutes till I can go, around 10 (my day starts at 5am).

No question, or anything profound, just wanted to whine for a minute, and tell how much it kills me that most people will take a day off in a heartbeat, yet they think the boss has it so easy.
