ugggggghhhh..well my computer crashed and I had to get a new hard drive and lost alot of programs I need. But my grandmas computer has the programs on it…but I need them on my laptop…
Their is a way of doing these but they are extremely hard and unfortunately we can’t tell you on the internet for legal reasons, so NO!
It depends entirely on the program, if you could list their names, we might be able of helping you.
And since these programs are taken over from direct family, they are actually not illegal!
microsoftic word, and corel paint shop pro x(witch I bought off line threw a link so I dont have the disk yeah Im stupid.)
I pissed that microsofic word didnt just come with the new **** hard drive.
no.
no, you would need to find the registery entries for those. It is most easy to re-download it, if you still have a valid licence.
You know if you need to just read Word files you can get them for free and Open Office is like Microsoft Office but free!
well I was thinking I could contact corel pain shop pro and tell them what happen and they should have me on record sence it wasnt my fault and if I had just got the cd then I could re-install it so I would think I should have the same opption with the download.
I need it to write my english cop. essays.
And yes, I too would advice open office! It is free, upgraded more regularly, and has more languages available. There are only benefits.
I doubt you can do that! (call up the pain shop and tell them who you are and they send on a new code!
makes me so mad. It was like $90…and I dont even have it anymore..
do u think the dell company could get the programs off my old hard drive?
Take your old hard drive to someplace that does file transfers (best buy - geek squad) and ask if they could transfer the programs to your laptop (obviously you’d have to leave your laptop there).
It might be pricey though (Geek Squad, not sure about any others).
Hope I helped though.
There /is/ a way to copy the program, but it’s hard and may take a while. My other suggestion would work a lot easier.
