Any one good in math?

How do you figure out the height of an equilateral triangle if only the base is given?

well if its equilateral all sides are the same length

there for you can draw a line down the middle and make a rightangled triangle with base half that of the original trangle base and diagonal equal to the base length.

Then its just pythagorous.

hight= base^2 - (base/2)^2
