Go to community college. There’s nothing wrong with starting at a community college. They are far cheaper and you usually get an education that is equal to or even sometimes superior to the education you would get at the university.

After your first 2 years, go to uni.

You have to start somewhere; and a high percentage of people who begin college never finish. It would be a shame and a wast to blow a bunch of extra money on a university until you know for sure that college is for you.

Warning, a two year degree from a community college usually takes about five years. They are poorly set up for working students. I know this from experience. Bite the bullet and go to school full time. Get to a 4yr as soon as possible. Talk to financial aid for monetary help.

its wiser to start at a community college….#1 it saves you a ton of money and #2 if you change your major it shouldnt hurt you money wise…..just take some basics for awhile…get used to the hole college thing…nothing wrong with taking your time…..

It’s better to go to community college and walk away with a degree than to go to a big uni. and walk away with 5+ years (usally a lot longer) of debt.
Look at the credit crisis this country is in. With good grades, scholarships may
come along to help with cost.

I guess if you are a liberal arts major it doesn’t matter much. For a science degree, community college is crap. 4year is far superior. I transferred and was behind in my classes because the c.c. didn’t cover everything.

yea that can happen the thing is to look into the college you want to go to eventually and see what classes will transfer and take them at the c.c to save money…as long as your in college now thats all that matters
