Is George W.
Bush the worst president of your lifetime? Valerie Plame, Katrina, handling of the wars, the recounts, not talking to rogue nations, etc etc. Do you Republicans think he’s worse than Clinton? Do you leftists think he’s worse than Reagan’s economic reforms? How will he go down in your history book?

Regan was a great President. Bush made many mistakes and I blame him for what has happened in the election. I’m not sure that Hussein can save this thing either we are in a decline as a nation and it would take a miracle at this point get this thing back on track. Never in the history of our nation have we seen such moral and economic decay. We are being destroyed from within. I pray that somehow there is an awakening to whats going on before its too late.
I thought George W. himself only represented what was wrong with the last 8 years. I think George W., D***** Cheney and those who agreed with Bush’s policies over 90 % of the time will go down in my book as the worst of what I have experienced in my lifetime of presidents. Bush on the one hand was a puppet, but on the other he knew what he was doing with his power and it was turning into more of a dictatorship than a democracy. The ignorance, the mistakes, and the destruction of the Constitution were just insane!!! It was like having a zoo running the show.
I am happy to say I think our president elect Obama is already working to resolve some of the set backs we have experienced in the last 8 years. It will take more than 4 years and so he has quite a task to deal with, but he is an intelligent, thoughtful and diplomatic person. I think because he developing a strong team, is open to suggestion and willing to work with others he will accomplish as much as he is able in his 4 years as leader. He is a great organizer!

Anon, do you think he will not be re-elected??

Actually quite the contrary! (sorry if it sounded otherwise.) I am feeling optimistic that he will have a good long crack at it and be in a position of leadership for 8 years. With his intelligence and organizational skills we are already just beginning to move in a positive direction. :-)

Anon, referring to Barack Obama by his middle name as a not-so-subtle way of putting him down is a great example of all the UGLINESS (and rank STUPIDITY) that’s been going on for much longer than this campaign season. Basically, it’s chickenshit.

A lot of people all over the world seem to have the same opinion! Hallelujah! I’ve been asking “the man on the street” and it’s pretty thrilling to see their faces light up when I say, “How do you feel about the election?”

I just like the way it sounds Hussein…….
No, you think you’re really getting a dig in … Pathetic words from a small brain.
Florie…
I disagree. That is the man’s name. We mustn’t shy away from it. The more we say his name the more people become numb to it. The more people become numb the more tolerant they will be when they hear a name that isn’t Anglo.
They think it invokes fear. I think it is helping calm fears. What’s so scary about the guy with the nice smile named Hussein that is the president of the united states? Absolutely nothing.

Easy there cowboy I just like the way that sounds he could end up being a really great President you never know, chill down there sport.
His name is Barack Obama. He doesn’t go by “Hussein.” People who use Hussein are doing so to make a junior high-schoolish point (they think) that he’s “not really American” or is “a lot like Saddam Hussein” (that terrorist!) etc., etc., etc. ad nauseam. It’s juvenile, and just plain dumb – and worse.

You know **** well it invokes fear (among the ignorant …). No, there’s nothing scary about Barack Obama, but there IS something scary and sickening about the people who harp on his middle name.

Easy there sport, its ok now don’t get your panties in a bunch. I don’t think he’s a terrorist either its just his middle name is kinda funny to me.
Anonymous, from reading other replies by you on various posts, I don’t doubt you have ulterior motives in what you wrote. You know very well the implications are of what you said. I agree with Florie!
I also agree with the original poster Cliff. I think we do need to hear his full name and know that there is nothing to fear. That we should not be associating his name with a terrorist and that we can now use it in the context of intelligence, peace and looking forward to a positive and brighter future.
