What is the relationship between online chatting and cheating in real life?
Is flirting online a gateway to trouble? Is it OK to keep your online life secret from your boyfriend/girlfriend?

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
i have a boyfriend….and last time, i used to chat/flirt online with one of the guys that i used to see. it felt harmless until that guy told me that he really really really likes me and that he said i should leave my bf, that he’d talk to my bf, etc. so, i stopped ’cause i was scared and it did feel like i was cheating on my bf. my bf didn’t know about this at all but i still didn’t wanna like make things worse. what goes around, comes around. i didn’t want to think if my bf was flirting up with one of the girls he used to date. grr!
but yeah, that’s in my opinion
Just stop.
Don’t do it.
I’ve been there.
It’s not fun.
It messes you up, A LOT.
Especially if you start to like this other guy too.
JUST STOP.
Mkay?
Okay. (:

Ashely, did the contact spill over into the real world? If so, how did that transition happen?

Ohhh.
Aha.
(I don’t mean to troll all over your post :D I’m having a slow day).
You mean, me and my boyfriend, and this other guy?
I mean did what started on line lead to real life contact, and if so how did that transition happen?

Hm.
Well.
I one night I was added to this MSN conversation.
Me and this guy talked all the time after that.
We started to like each other.
I found out that he was in high school, also. (But I’m in 8th grade, Middle school).
But that’s didn’t really affect anything at the time.
So, me liking him, really messed my head up because I got insecure about me and my boyfriend.
I dumped him, broke his heart for this other guy.
But this guy and me never hung out because he was busy working or couldn’t get a ride yet (no license at the time). But we hung out about 2 times.
So, that only lasted for about a week.
We broke up.
I realized that where I belonged, was with my other Ex. (: They guy in the beginning.
Turns out, this other guy (high schooler), didn’t really care, and had about 3 other different ex/non-ex-girlfriends in the past 2 months we broke up.
It didn’t really bother me.
But I know, that I’m happy with the guy I’m with.
That’s that. (:
SO, DON’T DO IT. (y)
