death help: How many people do not wear a seat belt while in a car? - Help.com

when i was younger, i use to hate wearing seatbelts while riding in the back seat. or i would remove the shoulder strap because it irritated my neck. needless to say my parents became angry with me and enforced the use of wearing my seatbelt. luckily i never experienced a near fatal accident.

now that i can drive, i always wear one regardless.

I wear mine all the time.. I’ve heard too many nasty stories of car accidents from my dad about people who didn’t wear their belt.

I wear mine all the time, too. There may be occasions where it would have been better not to have it on but the odds are sure in favor of wearing it!

Thats really scary to think that seatbelts could also harm you. I almost always wear mine, specially if i’m driving. When i’m only going a short distance and in the back seat, sometimes i don’t, but in most states its the law to wear it. I had a friend who crashed into a tree going 80, he walked away fine, because he was wearing a seat belt.

I wear one because when i was a kid in the car with my mom if i wasn’t wearing one i woulda flew out the window and more than likely die so there on i wear it seat belts save more lives than not
