Do what I do, Scream like a mother fu^ker until it subsides. As loud as you can until you turn blue in the face.

Lol But being serious, I do math. Double the result over and over until I can’t do it anymore

Ex. 2+2=4 4+4=8 8+8=16 16+16=32 32+32=64 64+64=128 Etc etc until the number gets too high for you, And by that time the attack is usually over or calmed down to where you can handle it.

slow deep breathes are a great start. then try to think of something positive particularly in your current life. breathing is essential to panicing. when your body takes in less oxygen, carbon dioxide builds up in your lungs, lowering your body’s ability to work efficiently.

i think its also a mental thing. if you’ve had enough attacks to the point when you know typical situations that may triger it just tell yourself “i will not panic. I’m not going to have an attack” as weird as it seems it actually works sometimes
