Where can I find out my state laws?

specifically the statutes of limitations? Someone is trying to take me to court for a bill incurred appr. 10 yrs ago.Argh

The public library by law has the state’s law books somewhere. Also, you can consult an attorney without charge, who’ll give you good advice, and offer you immediatelly his consultation; he’ll tell you the best thing to do.

My advice is to consult a reputable attorney. He’ll tell you right off the bat what the statute of limitations is, if there’s no case, he probably won’t charge.
