I Have a Horse That I’m Training Run Barrels and I don’t know wich bit to use! I need Somthin thats heavy w/ a pretty good amount of control. But i Don’t Know

I know what you need! More training. Because the control of horse, certainly doesn’t lie in the use of a bit!
Or how else can you perfectly ride horses without them :P

Lucif I may be mistaken, but do you know much about horses? The type of bit can make a difference.

Anon, does your horse neck reign? What kind of a bit do you usually use? Lucif is right to a certain extent. Communicating body language to your horse for quick tight turning is important. I’ve never had formal training but I have worked cattle with horses.

Not every horse can take a hard bit a rubber Bit i used to give the Fillies and Mares .Colts a Steel Bit.It all depends the behavior of the Horse.some horses use nothing more to communicate with its rider by knees.Like i said for each horse a different bit.to start of take a rubber bit…
