anaerobic fermination is producing ATP without oxygen for a quick release of oxygen. so as a guess muscle cells, but if you specific types, i wouldnt know. i know this produces lactate that is then oxidised after increased respiration in the liver. dunno if thats what you need tho. hope it helps in anyway, if not, wikipedia will probably tell you. x

anaerobic bacteria, anything that wouldn’t have access to oxygen. i believe yeast cells carry out this process. fermentation produces a lot less ATP than cellular respiration though.
