friends help: OK, what do I say? - Help.com

OK, what do I say?

There’s a guy I like. I’m friendly with his best friend, and I was thinking of casually mentioning something about my crush to him. I want to poke around a little bit to see who my crush is interested in. How can I do this? What should I say to my crush’s friend to ge the maximum amount of information possible? Don’t give me “talk to your crush yourself” crap, because I’m beyond that now. Thanks!

It is my experience the more he said she said stuff you involve the longer it will take to get the real answers you want. My advice, talk to the guy you like. Remember, the hardest way to do anything is the right way.
