isnt it 25y(2)
if its that then the answer is simple application of (a+b)^2 = a^2+b^2 +2*a*b

never really did anything exactly like this, but i got -24x+25-2y….But follow R.A.M’s advice. If u need to know x and why then i could tell u……Well wait a sec, i should try figuring it so the equation is set 0=0 then i would know if my answer is accurate….

dont give him the answer…
Just hint at it…
Thing is people should learn to do their own home work but there is no problem in guiding them…Lie do you realise 4^2 is 16 and 40 is 4*5*2 and 25 is 5^2

The answer….at least i think (because that y squared throughs me off) but ignoring the y: (4x-5)(4x-5)

I don’t, this stuff is difficult. I was just barely lucky enough to grasp it. I don’t even know how to work in the Y,…..so…yep :D

16x^2-40x+25-y^2=
You can factor 16x^2 - 40x + 25 into two binomials
(4x-5)*(4x-5) - y^2 =
(4x-5)^2 - y^2
You could stop there or:
((4x-5) + y)*((4x-5) - y)
