Theres no “easy” way. Study! Do some everyday! Also, if you don’t understand it, ASK YOUR TEACHER QUESTIONS! Than, if you still don’t understand tell them that. They are there to help you

I’ll try to explain. What algebra is is subsituding letters for numbers.

If i say X=2,
than everytime you see X, fill in a 2.

So 2*X really means 2*2, becuse You fill in 2 for x.

You could try having another teacher go over the basics with you. Sometimes you just need to hear it put a certain way for it to click. And do your homework too!
