If I feel a striking pain near my heart area and than it stops what does that mean?

Is that a sign of a heart attack?

heart attack patients often report a squeezing or tightening of the chest area and numbness/pain/tingling in the arms.

it could also be heartburn, but don’t take the chance. do you think you’re at risk for a heart attack?

Could be acid reflux . . . could be an arterial spasm . . . could be a blocked coronary artery. Only ONE way to find out . . . and don’t be embarrassed about being concerned. Pain = your body trying to tell you something.

Hi I don’t think any doctor or specialist really knows what we’re going through unless they are actually “living” the pain themselves. They go on our symptoms and how we look. I have been released from hospotal about 10 times with an annoying “you’re fine dude” from Doctors. HIGHLY STRESSED but I learned how to beat the panick attacks “think about nude women” !!! I usually get panick attacks while driving and waiting in lines of people at the bank or post office (aaarrggrGH). My doctor is actually sick of seeing me ssying I have VENTRICULAR-ECTOPICS (a weird heart beat) but that’s not gonna kill me. I still get the PINCHING PAIN in my chest, and sharp shooting pain in my centre of back. I also have RSI from trying which I thought was a heart related pain problem but it’s swolen tendons in the arm starting at the wrist (cvan be either arm) look up CARPAL TUNNEL. My chest wall pain is mostly muscle pain, and disk pain from pushing heavy weights. Life’s too short to keep running up to the hospital every time I get a weird sensation. If I get a BIG PAIN then I’ll go up or call and ambulance. And don’t do drugs folks, party drugs will screww your heart up in mid life or earlier !!! They weaken it.

I feel the same thing…it comes and goes my biggest fear is that I will have a heart attack…I have been checked out through a complete check up including a 2 cardiologist…and both say I’m ok….nothing weird from the ekg’s/exams

I’m thinking about getting a complete body scan to make sure though…
