I want to start my own business more than anything.

A few months ago I got involved with a company I thought was legit. They even had real looking catalogs of nice artwork they said they sold overseas. They needed me to be a go between for them for a profit. now its my own fault, I let my passion to start my business cloud my judgement. They sent me a very large check to deposit in my account. I would transfer the money less my fee to another account at my own bank, thats what made me think it was ok. come to find out, the check was stolen. my banks rep called me and told me of this scam, and that I was not the only one. She knew I had nouthing to do with it, exept for being a very embarrased victim. But my account was closed, and I owe the bank money. Its taken me months to recover. My business idea is simple. I want to do storage unit auctions, then resell on ebay(my reputation on ebay is great) and at local flea markets. I work full time but dont get paid enough to invest in a descent truck. Again my honesty might kill me in here but i have garnishments on my check. my credit is shot, ive been down every avenue for funding i can think of. I need to pay the bank to reopen my account so i can use merchant services online. A truck, and bidding money. I would also rent a large storage unit to work out of. I have been called every name in the book and laughed at and ridiculed because i allowed myself to be scammed. and mabe everyone is right, but we all make mistakes, i admit to mine, i just want a chance to prove i can build somthing successful and give back to someone else who needs help. any ideas, at this point i will agree to any terms that wont sink me further……tha nks. it really helps to finally talk about this…..god bless.

Well, I share your pain… I borrowed money from a company that seemed like they were honest that advertised here and boy were they scammers… then another company tried to scam me again with the same gift cheques and threatened me on top of it all… I sent the threats to the local authorities and the FBI… they need to stop scaming people… my bank account suffered also.. I’ve been working to try and get it back into the positive again… but join Prosper dot com and apply for a loan… they will run a credit check but even with bad creidt or high risk credit you can get a loan funded… there are lots of groups to join and research them all… one good one is the Hard Money group…. they get lots of loans funded and the leader is helpful… they’ll help with your loan proposal etc… good luck need anything else let me know… I’m at
jamei_matteson at yahoo dot com…

Hi jamei, thanks for your reply, i have already looked into prosper, i will continue with them, unfortunatly they ask for bank account info, and i have none. i will try the other one you suggested. It really sucks being scammed, it turns your whole world upside down. but i cant give up, this business iam starting will work, and its somthing to leave to my kids. good luck to you too. steve.

I remembered a friend of mine got divorced and wanted to get a new checking account but was turned down as her ex had not handled things in the right way… she told me how she visited these two sites and one of them helped her get her own new checking account even tho her previous history wasn’t all that good… visit these two sites and see if they can help you so maybe Prosper can then… 1. Needchecking dot com 2.
Gochecking dot com… or in your search engine type second chance checking account… good luck…. hope one of these works out…

Proper.com is a good place to get a loan but they do require a certain score. If you need a bank account because you are reported to chexsystems this is where you can get one for free
