try setting realistic goals for yourself-things that don’t seem like much but are small steps in a healthy direction. something like walking around the block each day or drinking a glass of water before each meal. small changes that you can easily maintain.

Ok, Excersise when your mind isnt like bleh.

And Keep a Diet, you could try that All Meat, but No Carbs Diet, it works really good.

But only do it for so long, as nothing but meat can be unhealthy over long periods of time.

As well, when you get *those* cravings, Try poping some gum, or peperments, maybe even a diet bar to hold you over.

If it’s the stressful situations that destroy your diets then maybe you should target those? No sense in losing wight if you’re just going to put it on again :)

Whenever I look at a plate full of food, I just visualize that it’s really a pile of fresh sh*t. That really kills my appetite and helps me keep my weight down.

Trust your self, you know deep inside that you can do it. I know that specially for over weight people that the temptations are all around us when we are not feeling good but and thats a big BUT, you have to live a healthy life, for your own good ( you know it ). Set your self a plan, an achieveble plan. You will not lose weight over night, a week or a month. Use your creativite. Try learning new healthy recipies and exercise three to four times a week, dont over do it ( it is hard in the begining but when you see the results you will feel much better). Im sure you can do it.

You don’t have a weight problem. Your problem is with your will power, and your self esteem. If you fix those too things everything will be OK. Do you have a plan? What’s your goal? Part of the reason we self-sabotage ourself is because we will gain something by not succeeding. What it is you gain by staying heavy?

This is very true. I want to lose weight and be able to fit into nice clothes. That is my goal.

I gain nothing by being heavy…ok, the only thing i gain is maybe the temporary relieve from my stress

OK… so that’s a pretty good goal. So why not go and buy that outfit now? Hang it on the wall by your closet, so you see it every day before you get dressed. Then you need to make a plan as to when you will exercise. Schedule a part of your day / week to do regular exercise. Start off simple with daily walking. The trick is do it the same time every day. Make a habit of it. It takes approximately 21 days of repetition to make a habit of something. Eventually, you get to the point where if you DON’T exercise you will feel strange. Then consult a good nutritional source for your diet and menu. If you are eating healthy and exercising you’ll loose weight. Ultimately you be able to fit into that outfit.

Relief from stress… well that is a HUGE benefit of eating in an unhealthy fashion. It’s also very common. There are other ways to deal with stress - exercise actually is one of them. Meditation is another good one. If you stay large, can’t you eat pretty much anything you want? Isn’t that a benefit? By being large don’t you get out of something things…. like things where you have to really exert yourself (i.e sports or really physical work?) It is some of these benefits that will allow you to self sabotage you’re goal. You have to plan for these things too… plan for how you will handle them so you can stay on your plan for your ultimate goal. You can do this… I can feel the drive inside you… you just need the tools, and I hope I’ve just given you a couple.
Bright blessings ~ Richard
