HELP my laptop internet dose not work with netgear and we have the netgear and its installed proparly what do i do?

its got lots of signal the internet just dose not work and it use to.Please Help me!!!!!

Is it a wireless connection? I think the problem could be that your not getting an ip address from the isp gateway or the router. In any case right click on the connection icon in the system tray and select diagnose and repair.

there is one other step that you can do and this might work. Plug in the laptop to the router port 1 then type in your browser address window. Http://www.routerlogin.net then use admin as the user name and password. Now use the setup wizard and reconfigure the router. Then when asked to save the settings put them into your documents making a new folder called netgear you can also store this information on a flash drive. Hope this helps :-)
