It’s about confidence; you need to believe in what you are saying. Start off by thinking about what you want to say and go through it in your head. When you’re ready, take a deep breath and then say what you want to say.

The hardest part is starting. Once you’ve started to talk, you can’t stop because you’ll look a bigger fool if you stop halfway than if you continue to the end.

I’ve had that same problem. Up to the end of high school, I was really quiet and was unable to speak up. However, once I started college I found out that it was essential for me to able to speak up.

Maybe try a piece of writing (persuasive speeches are good) and try reading it out to a friend or family member. By doing this, you can build you confidence up in an environment where you won’t get insulted for your mistakes.

There are many quiet people out there, who can pull off some amazing speeches.
