How come norms are the way they are, and how come violating them is bad when making the original norms was breaking the ones before that?
A way to live had to start somewhere….why is that way any better than a new one.

I’m not outside the norm…and my pants are fully buttoned….I’m just open to change….i am comparing the actions of anyone that is mocked, to that of “normal”…what is sad is your generality of anyone different as “annoying” or “ignorant and immature.”
you wrote that i was annoying because i might be “outside the norm”..and called me immature with representation of a child pulling their pants down in public…that is GENERALIZATION…please understand what you say before you write it..you would not seem ignorant your self

hmm. . . whats actaully sad though is that you think i made a generalization.
i have a cat who seems to see things that are not there sometimes.
perhaps youd like to talk to a cat.btw its offensive to quote someone as saying something they did not say.
?????
i know…right?
Disposing of unwanted babies in a refuse pile used to be normal in pre biblical times. humanity evolves I think but not always for the better
are you inferring that disposing of unwanted babies in a pile is a good thing?

are you okay?
the generalization was in the conclusion of “if you are being ridiculed by people”..you created the conclusion with your opinion…which is a generalization
it’s like saying jews love money….you are generalizing about them loving money…just like you generalizing about “out of the norm” people are annoying….
as to the original question, breaking norms is not necessarily a bad thing. it creates change which can be for the better.
you just said in your little chalkboard that they are your beliefs that they are annoying….hippocrit
no you did not…you said “these are the beliefs i think these people you are talking about must have.” that is a major opinion…..i agree with the nice lady above….are you ok? you seem….distracted from your own thoughts
not everyone is great at spelling or grammar, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t entitled to an opinion.
i never said he wasn’t allowed an opinion…the fact that he lied about ever having one is the problem…
i was talking to dazmos in my last post.

please shoot your english teacher.
then why did you post that?
it’s hard to do when you keep changing what you said…stick to a story and we might understand you
right. well it’s often difficult to accurately convey your thoughts through the internet, so how about if everyone has a bit of patience.
i just wanted a conversation on comparing the differences of everyday life of now and whenever in history….the norms….this guy barged in and stated that being different “could” be considered just weird or immature….he gave no other opinion so i took that one as his own.

OR he just wants to pick a fight. which is cool cause i have homework and maybe my absence will get this post back on track.

don’t blame your instructors for your lack of clarity… and i agree with the original poster. either cite your sources or your posts will be interpreted as your own ideas. i don’t quite understand what you’re trying to get at either, and i also make good grades in my college courses, if that means anything to you.
….seriously? are you that stubborn to think that everyone else is wrong….? its like saying “i am not crazy…the rest of the world is crazy”
thank you.
(that first post was to dazmos)
you didn’t say “people”..you said “i”
i said you were ignorant because you changed your story…in any case leads me to think that you don’t understand what you are debating….
i never once said you were correct.
goodnight to you to
i meant in your “chalkboard”
it states your opinion very clearly
i wouldn’t lie about anything as idiotic as your opinion
