Year help: I am currently 23 years old and entering my sixth year of college. - Help.com

I am currently 23 years old and entering my sixth year of college.

I only need one more year to graduate but I have absolutely no interest in what I am studying (biology). Is it too late to switch majors and start anew?

It’s never too late, but why not finish your major in bio and minor in a subject that interests you and maybe has some overlapping classes, just so you dont have to take tons more classes. Having a degree in bio doesn’t limit your career choices to badly, often employers will see you are smart and compentent and able to learn.

Only one more year? I would tough it out and get the degree. You can always go back for another degree in something else, if you want. If you are just board, why don’t you try to mix things up a little bit. Talk to your advisor to see if you can take an unrelated coarse that you are interested in as a replacement for one of your bio classes. It will push back your graduation about a semester, but if it can help you to enjoy your last year and improove your GPA it may just be well worth it.
