I think I have an unhealthy obsession with politics.
I’m not sure when it started or when it intensified but my internet time consists of 50% political articles, 30% political youtube videos, 20% entertainment. I watch CNN, and BBC news the majority of the day. Am I passionate or just obsessed?

As long as you don’t hurt people for their opinions, or forget about yourself or your loved ones, because of politics, I think you’re pretty fine. Oh, right, and as long as you don’t spend too much time with politics I guess…
I think it’s important to be attentive to politics.
Hey Cliff, do I have a match for you!

Are you staling politicians? Now that would be obsessive!
Maybe you should be in politics?

I thought about that a lot. However I know how your past can come back to bite you. So maybe that’s not such a good idea.

Your absolutely right. I love to talk politics. It also gives me an opportunity to sway people. I find interesting ways of debating my points.
Share the wealth bro!!!
I don’t worry about people who are obsessed with politics. It’s the ones who pay no attention to it at all that concern me, the ones who don’t care what sort of injustice or stupidity is passed into law. Those who are willfully unaware, combined with those at the political extremes who are “true believers” in their views as inerrant, are a more dangerous coalition than all of the crooked politicians combined.

I think I was scared into caring about politics. The fact that these people make, revise, an shape the laws we live by is a terrifying thing to me. People vote law makers in to office and leave them to their own devices with no oversight. I always tell people that we need to remember that the people hold the power. It’s just too easy to blame legislators. They get away with what we let them get away with.
As far as “true believers” and partisans; I believe that partisan politics is what’s ruining government. It has become an ongoing chess game. My party is guilty of it as well as the Republicans. Instead of finding what common ground they do have and not trying to kill each other on the issues they disagree on, they ignore their own convictions to undermine the other party. Trying to one up the other guy. The worst part is that the onlookers get caught up in the fight and meanwhile nothing is accomplished.
In reality ,the Senate are the movers and shakers .But i guess the Senators are getting a nice fat cheque every week ,why worry .Look at them ,the Majority is halve dead. And Senate is realy the one what decides what and where…
