Thats really sweet the only time that I think its pathetic is the ones that only talk online and wont speak over the phone where it would seem like dating a screen name over a person but what your doing is really romantic for you to set up a date like that since your so far from her.

we spent the last 2 years getting to know each other…we spoke for hours almost everyday either online or the phone…I know what she looks like and she knows what I look like….next spep is to meet her and marry her…Thank you for your cheerful responses

The only way to know someone is to spend lots of time with them… in person… seeing them when things go well and when they go badly, when they have challenges, how well you work together on things, etc.

I also think it’s silly to ask an online community if they think doing things online is weird. If they did, they wouldn’t be online, right? Get out and meet people in person. Doing it online is way too easy. You miss so much of interaction… the sights, the scents, the touch, the proximity, the body language… real life is better.

good point but some times its hard in person to tell them things like how u feel abuot them so doin it online is like a way out .

lol im in love with a girl from israel. to bad I’ll never see her again…

real life is better but she is from Spain 9000 miles away…And the computer just introduced us….It never works for me the meeting of opposite sex…Too many chances encounters and many never compatable…. online dating is the way to go for getting to know somweone intimately and ultimately meeting them
