I need help with the installation of the Sims2!

I’m installing the regular Sims 2 on my computer currently, the one that came out in 2004. Every time it starts to install, this little box pops up! (click on the link to see what I mean)

Everytime I click retry, the loading goes farther, but when it gets to 100%, it keeps popping up over and over again, and doesn’t continue any farther. How can I fix it?
