Money help: I just started this new job… - Help.com

I just started this new job…

Basically it involves me walking virtually non stop from 7am to 5pm outside. It was my first day today, and the morning I was fine but by 2pm I couldn’t see straight anymore and I was seeing colours and my legs were excruciating. But I can’t stop walking cause when I do I lose money.
Any tips on how not to get myself killed i.e. stretches, what to eat, what to wear for most heat but least weight, how to get faster, etc.

Carry some granola bars to eat throughout the day, some water and vitamin supplements(Take the supplements early in the day).Look at footwear that would be suitable for hiking or at least suitable for what you need it for. Use RUB A535 after work to elevate your muscle pains.(The positive thing is that it smells like peppermint). Getting faster will come with time as you build the muscle in your legs.

As for clothing, it might be a good idea to go to a hiking and camping store like Mountain Equipment Co-Op for some recommendations on what to get.

Good luck(you’re gonna need it)

If you can change shoes or boots and socks the moment your feet are tired. Felt insoles are cheap and absorb sweat. It takes about two weeks to build your leg muscles and if you drink while you walk, you’ll need to pee..lol. It’s the pounding of the feet you want to prevent:)

P.S. Muscle relaxers work, but are addictive…

Water, electrolytes, possible wooden clogs (used by me as a mail carrier in the olden days), NO “energy drinks” - not good

God, you’d have to put 100 an hour to make $9/hr. There must be something better, mon.

100 houses actually goes by pretty quickly, most of the dudes unload 1500 a day o.0 There’s better paying jobs but I surprisingly enjoy this, due mostly to the fact the guys I work with aren’t massive @ssholes :D but I’m mad slow so my tiny little muscles must grow!
