night help: small bumps on tongue? - Help.com

small bumps on tongue?

Recently, I noticed a few small bumps on my tongue.
It started last night. I drank some kool-aid, the tropical punch kind. I had a very high concentration of it, and then I noticed a few small bumps on the back center of my tongue.
I’m not sure if they were there before or not, but I do know they’re there now.
This morning, I noticed three or four bigger bumps near the very back of my tongue on the left and right side, and after having some cereal and pizza, I noticed a few small bumps under my tongue.
I also have chapped lips right now, but no visible bumps on them, so I’m not sure if that plays a factor or not.
What I want to know is, could this be a reaction to what I ate or drank, a reaction to my chapped lips, both, or something more permanent or harmful?

Could be irritated taste buds or cold sores. I am sure it is nothing just give it some time and if it doesn’t go away see your doctor just in case. :D

But I have no time to go because of work, and no sick days until March > .
I just noticed it yesterday, but it doesn’t hurt.

Okay. Thank you. I’ll just have to give it some time.
And yes. I do that sometimes > .
And now I have to go to work. I hope there’s some more answers when I get back, and I hope these bumps go away.

Shiroche,
Did you ever figure out what this was? Did it go away? This sounds exactly like what I have right now, and it feels weird and is a little annoying. Would love to know what happened.
Thanks!
Michelle
