There is no ‘restart’ button, if you decide you want to die but then change your mind, you can’t restart, you can’t reboot. You only have one life.

It’s an irrevocable decision. Just like when my brother-in-law pulled the trigger on a magnum revolver and killed himself. So many problems are left behind. Family members and friends are devastated and left wondering for the rest of their lives. They wonder why you didn’t trust them to help.

There’s also an element of hostility in taking your own life . . . there is actually a desire to make the survivors’ lives miserable. Revenge is no little part of a most suicides.

If you really love and care about those who love and care about you, then you will not go down this path.
