Hi, I rescued a dog (Staffordshire Terrior, Chow, Bull Mastiff) a few months back.

Her temperment is great, she’s sweet, affectionate, and smart. We were told she was housebroken and to a degree she is. At any point in time, day or night, whether she’s just come in from relieving herself, or simply is just let out of my room she will pee. In the exact same spots. She’s not marking, she’s fully emptying her bladder. After about a month of having her as part of the family, we added another addition (a puppy) and the urinating only got worse. Why is this happening? What can I do about this?

Perhaps she had a traumatic experience with her past owners which meant she needed to pee everywhere?

I don’t know, I’m just guessing haha

I would have never in my life thought of that… But it’s brilliant. I will surely add that to the top of my list of things to try. Thank you so much for that!
