PUT A CANDLE IN THE WINDOW…

I am a Native american Mother of Two my little girl Dylan is 2 and a half and my little boy Aiden is 1 and a half their dad just got laid off and its right around Christmas we’ve always struggled from day one but this year has just been tough. He is a strong and prideful man who just wants to work for his family but, their are no jobs in the county that we live. I would love to go back to school but with no money coming in what can we do? My children and I have been living from house to house for the past six months because we are homeless and the only thing that keeps me waking up everyday are their beautiful faces. I try to convince myself that everyhting is going to be ok but sometimes that just gets harder and harder to swallow but I will do whatever I can for my kids. I have never had an easy life but I always swore I would do better for my kids. I have failed on that promise and I’m at my wits end. My culture helps me get through because I know that we as a people have never had it easy and we have always overcome i pray that my heritage can hold my hand in my time of need and I can draw upon strength from my ancestors.

Homeless my dear is a state of mind. Homeless is not having a roof over your head and a bed you can call all yours. You need to listen with your heart and not just with the judgement and logic of rules set down people around you. If you knew anything about the Native American life and what they have lived threw. We have pushed this race of people over two mountain ranges and a desert and they live there with appliances that are brand new but there is no electric to run the washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, but the government doesn’t care.
Yes this poor woman is going home to home, that is no fun, and is awful on children. Try walking a minute in her shoes before you cast judgements.

i know were ur coming from just try to remember those who don’t have now and those who do but don’t help those that don’t will one day have nothing but pain 24-7 all the way thru eternity, the well off beware he’s knocking at the door once he opens it there will be no time to be forgiven.Like the mighty cross that once held the weight of the world and beyond will bow at his return, they will have no choice we do,don’t wait. When we help his we help him god bless those who do and those who don’t it’s our faith and our works one with out the other is just like the garbage in the streets.may the good lord bless u and all those u love

maybe the original poster is insulted by all the nasty replies. And she knows that there are others that will defend her.
