How far would you go?

You are in a room with 100,000 boxes. Inside each of those boxes, there is a $100 bill, except for one box, which contains an unavoidable death trap triggered when the box opens. The moment you leave the room all the boxes will be incinerated. How many boxes would you open before leaving the room, knowing that there’s a chance you might die with every box you open?

I wouldn’t open any, because knowing my luck, the first box I would open would be the unavoidable death trap one lol

I like the odds of 1/100,000 so maybe 250 or so. only a 1/400 chance of dying. and 25K sounds pretty dang nice.

The death trap is made to look like a $100 bill that has the same ability to be detected as a regular bill. The only difference is, when you open it, you get sucked into a black hole that closes as soon as you’re in. Happy?
