I need some info about segregation laws.

On my bus the driver has, due to an order from his boss, separated the high schoolers from the middle schoolers. My best friend is a middle schooler and I am a high schooler, and we both ride that bus, so this is a problem for both of us. So I need some info about segregation laws. I need either laws that apply to the entire Untied States or specifically laws of the state of Wyoming prohibiting segregation. I need to see if I can find a law that prohibits segregation where I live that does not specify only racial segregation but segregation in general. Can anyone who knows a bit more about laws than I do help me with this?

The laws or court decisions won’t help you. The school is “segregating” people on the basis of grade level for the protection of the middle schoolers, or to spare the high schoolers annoyance, or both. Apparently there was a problem with the two school groups sitting together. The school wants to avoid liability. My guess is that the action was precipitated by parental complaints.

To show that you were discriminated against would really be a stretch. And, if you did have the money to initiate a lawsuit, you would be a grandparent before the case was resolved!

Where the line is, sit on your side and have your friend sit on their side.

You got nothing, though, in the law area. It’s the same as seperating people into classes. It’s not really segregating. Sorry. :/

How about persecuting someone for the crimes of others? Laws against that? I would hope so…
