What is it about a person’s personality that leaves tem always contacting others for events or other meetings.

Maybe it’s just my own neuroticism but I have noticed a pattern that I’ve some how have ignored for the last 15 or so years and that is that I am always the one reaching out to make plans, keep them going or any portion of the sort. I generally find something to do and not by pity either, but I’m not sure if it’s a pattern which I start in the beginning of a relationship or what. Any enlightenment would be nice.
