Mind help: i’m hoping that a relationship works out with someone i - Help.com

i’m hoping that a relationship works out with someone i work with…

except i’m in a position that would make it generally frowned-upon (practically, although maybe not technically, inappropriate) if it did work out. it’s hard to read her interest, and it’s hard to know how to test her interest when professional boundaries are supposed to be in place. a couple of times, though, recently, when she has smiled and conversed genuinely with me, it made me feel like a million bucks, and that’s hard to simply put out of one’s mind. and i’m in another long-term relationship that’s not very comforting, which might explain the million-bucks factor mentioned earlier. hmmm… i sound like a cliche’. i guess i am.

Does she know you’re in a relationship? that may be stopping her from giving you the “go” signal. To be fair to your current girl you should end one of the relationships. Then you will be free to enjoy guilt free happiness with someone who makes you feel like that million bucks :)
