friends help: what is the best test to see if a guy is interested in you? - Help.com

what is the best test to see if a guy is interested in you?

there’s this guy that i have only one class with who i really like. he’s sweet and i’m the only girl in the class that he really strikes up conversations with (since he’s surrounded by his friends all the time). we also make a fair amount of eye contact, like i catch him 1-3 times a class looking at me. what’s a little “test” that i can use to see if he’s into me at all? of course without using words. i just want to be as subtle as possible while still “enlightening” myself?

The only way you will know for sure is if you use words. Sorry, but any other way could be misleading.
ask what he thinks about you and how he feels about you, because trying to read his actions to figure things out could be disastrous.

the phone number idea ain’t a bad one, i have to say. i just don’t want to screw it up. i am incredibly unconfident on the inside when it comes to guys, although i don’t think it shows that much on the outside. so i really don’t want him to end up thinking i’m a creep or a weirdo. i just want him to like me for me…

as some famous writer guy once said: “Tis better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all” :P

and maybe he’ll just tell you he wants to be friends, either way at least you won’t have to look back on things years from now and wonder how it could have been…
