life help: I am frustrated beyond belief. - Help.com

I am frustrated beyond belief.

I use Yahoo mail but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to make it my default mail. Now then, I have researched this on the web. I know you are supposed to go to control panel, internet options, programs and select it - but I am not offered Yahoo mail as a selection. Supposedly, if you download and install yahoo messenger, it is supposed to add yahoo mail to that drop down list but I did all that and yahoo mail is still not offered.

I did a chat with yahoo support and the guy was clueless about this problem and said “I will make a suggestion to our developers about this.” Yeah, right. Since when did Yahoo ever listen to it’s customers and their problems?

Anybody have a solution?

In Google just type Yahoo Mail and once you are at the sight look around for the signin or login option. Then just type your email address and password.

Sometimes after downloading Yahoo or anything else for that matter you have to either shut down your system or restart it. I haven’t downloaded Yahoo for a time now so I forget what the process is.

My family all have then own signon’s so I have to go to Yahoo Mail to retype my email address in to get to my mail.

You could abandon Yahoo and switch to GMail…You really can use that for a default email client (Instead of Outlook).
