are there any dog rescues truly for aggressive dogs?

Best friends in the only one I can find that takes these dogs? see the story below and I am trying to find a solution to this problem:

i am charlotte and I live in gloucester va. There is a sad dog story that needs immediate coverage. The saga began in aug when dirty dogs grooming salon in hampton va was charged with animal abuse during their investigation. A box/rott mix was found in her care weighing in at 40 pounds, imagine that. Horrible situation. The ASPCA in newport news has the dog now and it is scheduled to be euthanized shortly, probably next wed. I am paying for his care tryin to find a rescue somewhere/somehow. It has been difficult as every shelter is full and cannot or won’t take anymore. Compounding the situation is that since the dog has been at newport news,VA shelter, he has shown signs of aggression and will snap from time to time. This dog needs some rehabiltiation and good training. He is a special needs dog that needs to be placed in a special needs situation. Here it is almost xmas and the sad story begins. I know dogs can be unpredictable but someone with good training could save this dog’s life. Yes, he is liability but with good care and proper training, he would be a wonderful dog. I am retired and don’t have the resources to handle such a task. I am writing every news person, paper trying to get someone to help me. The original article was published in the daily press on august 29 which is title dirty dogs grooming salon by tamara dietrict. I talked to her and she is reluctant to do a follow up story. If the micheal vick dogs can be rehab’d so can this one. Most of the time he is ok.

I have run across one road block against another. The person handling his care is Allison Hendricks. Her Phone # is 757-595-1399/ext 204.

can anyone help me. I am paying to house him for another couple of weeks and was wondering if euthanization is the only answer. I myself have 10 dogs and can’t possibly take another dog and rehab one but he must be released to some sort of rescue - any ideas.
